We are excited to begin this new journey at Living The Best Life. Our first blog will be posted on the 1st of October. It has been a challenging year and have had many struggles with staying positive. I thought about postponing this blog until next year but decided to have faith and trust that God has an amazing plan for Living The Best Life.

¹Hear my cry, O God;
    listen to my prayer.
²From the ends of the earth I call to you,
    I call as my heart grows faint;
    lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

³For you have been my refuge,
a strong tower against the foe.

Starling

I often feel a surge of anxiety. My feeling and thoughts rush at me all at once and I need an outlet to contain it. Since very young, I turned to journaling and art as a healthy coping mechanism. When I gave my heart to Jesus, I had that incredible glow in my eyes. I had an exciting testimony, a gift of prophecy and was ready to take on the world. Things didn’t stay that way and I had to start chasing that feeling. Often as my gift of prophecy dwindled, and a cavern opened between me and God. I felt he no longer saw me. A whisper stopped me “It is you who speaks to me as though I’m a void.” I need to begin communicated to God in any way I can and through any gift he gives me. Through Art, Poetry, and music.
